Title Worthy became the first winner for freshman sire Title Ready  by graduating on debut from a maiden optional claiming race Aug. 1 at Ellis Park.

Gerardo Corrales rode Title Worthy in Saturday's sixth race for trainer Dallas Stewart, who owns the colt with Commonwealth Stable, Rivers Thoroughbreds, and On Our Own Stable. The gray or roan 2-year-old was on or near the pace early before putting away the other speed at the head of the lane and, after drifting out, lasted by 1 1/4 lengths over second-time starter Celtic Mo. Title Worthy ran 7 furlongs in 1:26.70 over a sloppy (sealed) track and paid $11.12 for a $2 win wager.

Bred in Kentucky by Charles Fipke out of Maresias, a Creative Cause  half sister to grade 1 winner Arabian Lion , the winner was a $30,000 purchase from the 2025 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky October Yearlings Sale from the Hunter Valley Farm consignment.

Title Ready, a graded stakes-winning son of More Than Ready and an earner of $788,443 for owner/breeder Fipke, compiled a 5-6-6 record in 35 starts while racing initially for trainer Steve Asmussen and later Stewart through 2022. Title Ready entered stud at Darby Dan Farm in Central Kentucky before moving to Breakway Farm near Dillsboro, Ind.

Though Title Worthy is Title Ready's first winner, the 11-year-old stallion was represented earlier by a black-type horse when Goldmart Farms' Titan Ready finished second in the July 12 Victoria Stakes at Woodbine
