A Sea The Stars sister to this year's Grand Prix de Paris (G1) winner and Epsom Derby (G1) runner-up Maltese Cross features among the star lots for the Arqana October Yearling Sale.
Taking place Oct. 20-23 in a more condensed format of four days, made possible by the addition of extra boxes very close to the sales ground in Cour Morny, the auction features 668 yearlings, including relations to group winners and those out of high-class performers.
Along with Haras de la Cour Blanche's sister to Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (G1) candidate Maltese Cross, the standout lots for the sale include Haras d'Etreham's Modern Games half sister to group 1 winner Tiger Tanaka; Ecurie des Monceaux's Ace Impact colt out of Prudenzia's half sister Pacifique; Haras de Saint Pair's Chaldean half sister to group winners Lucky Lycra and Pearls Galore; plus Haras de Grandcamp's Galiway half brother to group 1 victor Woodshauna.
Among other notable inclusions are Haras de l'Hotellerie's Siyouni half brother to group 1 winner Wonderment and La Motteraye Consignment's Sea The Stars colt from the famed family of Solemia and The Gurkha.
Part one starts on the Tuesday from 11 a.m. local time, while part two takes place on the Wednesday and Thursday from 1 p.m. The third and final part takes place on the Friday from 11 a.m.
