A colt foal by Frankel out of the group-winning Well Disposed is the first lot to be unveiled for Arqana's first session during the Vente d'Elevage in December. The December Breeding Stock Sale will be held Dec. 5-8 in Deauville.
Bred and consigned by leading German operation Gestut Rottgen, the colt is bred on the Frankel-Dubawi cross, which has produced 16 stakes winners, including the classic-winning pair Adayar and Homeless Songs, while group 1 scorers Mostahdaf and Dream Castle are also bred on this nick.
Well Disposed was a dual group winner in Germany during her racing career and she also finished second in the Grosser Allianz-Preis von Bayern (G1).
The 7-year-old mare is out of excellent producer Wellenspiel, making her a half sister to German Derby (G1) winners Windstoss and Weltstar, as well as the group-winning Weltbeste.
The catalog for the sale will be available on arqana.com Oct. 19.
