There will be no daytime thoroughbred racing Thursday, Sept. 23 at Los Alamitos.
Live racing resumes Friday, Sept. 24, kicking off the final three days of the Los Angeles County Fair meet, which concludes Sunday, Sept. 26. Closing weekend will be highlighted by Friday's $75,000 Lucky Spell Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at six furlongs and Saturday's $75,000 Phone Chatter Stakes for 2-year-old fillies at 6 1/2 furlongs.
Los Alamitos is open daily for simulcasting. Track gates open at 10 a.m.
