Valor Farm's Bradester was represented by his first black-type stakes winner June 19, when Come to the Party sprinted home in wire-to-wire fashion in the Pan Zareta division of the Texas Stallion Stakes at Lone Star Park.

Bill and Corinne Heiligbrodt's 2-year-old filly led all the way in the five-furlong test on the dirt, winning by a head in :59.97. Stewart Elliott guided the bay filly, beating 10 other juveniles after setting fractions of :22.44 and :46.60. Come to the Party paid $5.80 to win.

Bred by Three Feathers Farm in Texas, out of the winning Once a Sailor mare Tina the Tiger, Come to the Party made her way through the Texas Thoroughbred Association 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale in April with consignor Benchmark Training Center, selling to the Heiligbrodts for $25,000.

This was the filly's second start, after finishing third in May in a maiden special weight over 4 1/2 furlongs for trainer Steve Asmussen.

The multiple graded winner Bradester stands at Valor Farm in Texas for an advertised fee of $2,000 for the 2022 season. The son of Lion Heart earned $1,196,332 in 26 career starts with a record of 10-6-3.
