Fasig-Tipton Digital has adjusted the dates of its upcoming December Digital Sale to accommodate more than 650 entries, a record number for an online auction conducted by the company.
Bidding on the December Digital Sale, originally scheduled for Dec. 5-10, will now take place from Dec. 5-11. Bidding will now close over two days Dec. 10-11.
The new schedule is as follows:
• Dec. 5: Catalog released and bidding opens;
• Dec. 10 (Session 1): Selling Hips 1-305 (Horses of Racing Age, Racing/Broodmare Prospects, Broodmare Prospects, Yearlings, & Weanlings);
• Dec. 11 (Session 2): Selling Hips 306-670 (Broodmares).
The first offerings will close each day at 12 p.m. EST for both sessions.
"The support from sellers for our December Digital Sale has been frankly remarkable," said Leif Aaron, Fasig-Tipton director of Digital Sales. "With a record number of entries cataloged, modifying our format to close the sale over two days provides our clients with the appropriate time needed to properly buy and sell.
"This catalog is high in both quantity and quality, with a wide variety of entries ranging from breeding stock and horses of racing age to yearlings and weanlings. Buyers from around the globe, as well as various regions of the United States, will find attractive offerings to suit their racing and breeding programs."
