Coolmore will continue their sponsorship of the first German classic of the year, with the Coolmore City Of Troy German Two Thousand Guineas (G2) to be run at Cologne May 18.
"German breeders have been terrific supporters of Coolmore over the years and we've been long-time race sponsors in the country," said Coolmore's Joe Hernon.
"We're thrilled to be sponsoring the group 2 Coolmore City of Troy German Two Thousand Guineas again."
City of Troy was named European champion juvenile in 2023 after winning all three starts that year for Coolmore and Aidan O'Brien, culminating in the Dewhurst Stakes (G1).He trained on to win the Epsom Derby (G1), Coral-Eclipse Stakes (G1), and Juddmonte International (G1) last year, a campaign which ended with him being named co-winner of the Longines World's Best Racehorse award with Laurel River. The son of Justify is currently standing stud at Coolmore in County Tipperary for €75,000.

Nominations for the race, run last year as the Coolmore St Mark's Basilica German Two Thousand Guineas and won by Devil's Point, can be made until Feb. 25.
