The countdown to Derby season officially begins with the return of the annual Backside Learning Center's Derby Handicapping Social, set for Tuesday, April 14 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Angel's Envy Distillery in downtown Louisville. Presented by HBPA and Godolphin, only a few tickets are remaining. The event is expected to sell out soon.

The evening will feature a distinguished panel of the industry's most respected experts — including FanDuel TV's Caton Bredar, Keeneland's Director of Communications Gabby Gaudet, Churchill Downs' analyst Joe Kristufek, and NBC Sportscaster Donna Barton Brothers moderating — who will share insights ahead of one of the most celebrated events in horse racing. Guests will enjoy a complimentary drink, hors d'oeuvres, and a bourbon tasting, making for an engaging and informative evening in and intimate downtown setting.

"We are thrilled this event has become so popular and sells out every year!" said Executive Director Sherry Stanley. "The combination of top-tier handicappers, a great venue and a room full of people who believe in the value of the BLC's mission makes for a perfect evening to kick off the season."

Beyond the festivities, guests will have the opportunity to learn about the Backside Learning Center and the meaningful ways to support the racetrack workers and families who sustain the horse racing industry.

"I, like all the handicappers, look forward to the Handicapping Social every year," said Bredar, also Backside Learning Center Board Chair. "Not only is it a great analysis of all the Derby prep races and contenders, but it's also supporting the unsung heroes of racing and the Kentucky Derby, without whom there would be no show."

Capacity is strictly limited, and with only a handful of tickets left, this is one Derby season event you won't want to miss! Secure your ticket today at bidpal.net/blcderbyhandicapping26.
