Fasig-Tipton has cataloged 308 entries for its Saratoga Fall Mixed Sale, to be held Oct. 12 in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. The sale will be conducted in the Humphrey S. Finney Pavilion beginning at 10 a.m. ET.
"Saratoga Fall Mixed is New York's breeding stock sale," said Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning. "There are 260 weanlings cataloged, by leading sires both nationally and within New York. The remainder of the catalog features a quality group of broodmares in foal on desirable covers."
Racing opportunities for New York-breds continue to become more lucrative for owners. This year, New York-bred overnight races for 2-year-olds on the New York Racing Association circuit offer purses equal to those for open-company races, and in 2027, that purse parity will extend to all New York-bred races. In addition, a $5,000 bonus is awarded each time a New York-sired New York-bred wins an open or New York-bred maiden special weight or allowance race.

The catalog may now be viewed online and will also be available via the Equineline Sales Catalog app. Print catalogs will be available the week of Sept. 21.
