Fasig-Tipton released its catalog for the October Digital Sale, which may be viewed online at digital.fasigtipton.com. Bidding opened Oct. 8 and will close over two days, beginning at noon ET each day:
- Oct. 13 (Hips 1-249): horses of racing age, racing/broodmare prospects, 2-year-olds in training, and broodmare prospects
- Oct. 14 (250-513): broodmares, yearlings, and weanlings
"We have more than 140 horses of racing age cataloged, contributing to a strong catalog which is 25% larger than last year's October Digital Sale," said Leif Aaron, Fasig-Tipton director of digital sales. "In addition, the catalogue includes racing/broodmare prospects, 2-year-olds in training, breeding stock, and yearlings."
The catalog includes more than 140 horses of racing age; 169 broodmares, including mares in foal to 82 different sires; more than 70-plus yearlings; and weanlings and 2-year-olds in training. Featured offerings include:
- A Thousand Miles (Hip 1): 4-year-old filly is a three-time stakes winner and is graded stakes-placed. Consigned as a broodmare prospect.
- Beautiful Blome (Hip 2): 4-year-old filly is a seven-time winner and multiple stakes performer, including a stakes victory at 2. Consigned as a racing/broodmare prospect.
- Lee's Baby Girl (Hip 23): 4-year-old daughter of Malibu Moon is a three-time winner who was graded stakes-placed last year. From the immediate family of multiple grade 1 stakes winner and sire McKinzie . Consigned as a racing/broodmare prospect.
- Rileytole (Hip 33): 3-year-old daughter of Mitole won the Remington Park Oaks Sept. 27 and was twice grade 1-placed last year at 2. Consigned as a racing/broodmare prospect.
- Coop Shoop (Hip 38): 4-year-old filly is a half sister to recent Frizette Stakes (G1) winner Dotsy and two-time stakes winner Dirt Monster. Consigned as a broodmare prospect.
- Ada Clare (Hip 39): 3-year-old daughter of Quality Road is a stakes-placed half sister to recent Breeders' Futurity (G1) winner American History. Consigned as a racing/broodmare prospect.
