Gainesway, near Lexington, Ky., has released the advertised stud fees for its 2027 stallion roster, anchored by cornerstone sire Tapit , leading sire McKinzie , and new addition, four-time grade 1 winner White Abarrio .

Gainesway's cornerstone sire Tapit will be listed at a private fee during the upcoming breeding season. Tapit is North America's No. 1 active sire by lifetime grade 1 winners (35) and graded stakes winners (107), with progeny earnings exceeding $227 million. Tapit led North America as leading broodmare sire from 2023 through 2025 and remains at the top of the standings in 2026. He also posted a Top 7 average among all sires at the 2026 Keeneland September Yearling Sale.

Joining the Gainesway roster in 2027 is Tapit's grandson White Abarrio, who will stand his debut season for $17,500. A four-time grade 1 winner with over $8.5 million in earnings, White Abarrio earned graded stakes wins or placings in every year of his racing career while recording 11 triple-digit Beyer Speed Figures. At 3, he established himself as one of the top colts of his generation with decisive victories in the Holy Bull Stakes (G3) and Florida Derby (G1). At 4, he won the Whitney Stakes (G1) by 6 1/4 lengths over Cody's Wish  before winning the Breeders' Cup Classic (G1). He added a victory in the Pegasus World Cup Invitational Stakes (G1), running a 1" Ragozin Sheet figure—the lowest Ragozin number recorded in 2025. In 2026, he won the Oaklawn Handicap (G2) over 2025 Horse of the Year Sovereignty  and Preakness Stakes (G1) winner Journalism , earning a 111 Beyer and 112 Equibase Speed Figure.

McKinzie solidified his position among the leading young sires, represented by four grade 1 winners in his debut crop: Chancer McPatrick , Scottish Lassie, Baeza , and Hymn, winner of the 2026 Forego Stakes (G1). He leads all third-crop sires by cumulative grade 1 winners, with yearlings bringing up to $700,000 at the 2026 Keeneland September sale. The four-time grade 1-winning son of Street Sense  will stand for $50,000.

Olympiad  is a top four North American freshman sire by earnings. The Jockey Club Gold Cup (G1) winner by Speightstown is represented by his first crop of 2-year-olds, including Breeders' Cup contenders Citrus Springs (Kentucky Downs Juvenile Fillies Stakes) and Roscoe Goose (2nd in the grade 2 Pilgrim Stakes). Olympiad's 2027 fee will be announced following the Breeders' Cup.

Locked , a multiple grade 1-winning son of Gun Runner , will stand his second season for $35,000. He bred 226 mares in 2026. A winner of the Breeders' Futurity (G1) at 2 and the Cigar Mile Handicap (G2) over older horses at 3, followed by wins in the Santa Anita Handicap (G1), by a race-record 8 1/2 lengths, and Woodward Stakes (G2) at 4 to push his earnings past $1.9 million.

A quartet of Gainesway sires will have their first weanlings represented at the upcoming November sales.

Muth , the only stallion to enter stud in 2025 to earn grade 1 victories at both 2 and 3, will stand for $25,000. A multiple grade 1-winning son of Good Magic , he covered 314 mares across his first two seasons, with his first in-foal mares averaging $150,591 at public auction.

Preakness Stakes (G1) winner Seize the Grey  will stand for $20,000. The multiple grade 1 winner and highest-earning son of Arrogate covered 305 mares in his first two books, with his initial first-crop weanlings already selling for $90,000, $80,000, etc.

Charge It  will stand for $10,000. A son of Tapit bred on the same cross as Flightline , he recorded four 100+ Beyers, headlined by an extraordinary 23-length win in the Dwyer Stakes (G3) and a 4 3/4-length victory in the Suburban Stakes (G2). He drew strong support from breeders by covering 348 mares across his first two books, with early sales results highlighted by a $100,000 first-crop weanling.

Grade 1 winner Tapit Trice  will stand for $7,500. A $1.3 million yearling purchase who won the Blue Grass Stakes (G1) and Tampa Bay Derby (G3) while earning placings in the Belmont Stakes (G1) and Travers Stakes (G1), he represents Tapit's classic cross with Unbridled's Song and belongs to the family of champion 2-year-old filly Jaywalk.

Also standing for $10,000 is Drain the Clock , whose debut class of 2-year-olds has stood out on the track and in the sale ring in 2026. That started with a filly who tied the Ocala Breeders' Sales track record for a quarter mile, blazing in :20 1/5 seconds during the Ocala Breeders' Sales March 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale under-tack show. At the same sale, this son of Maclean's Music  had a colt sell for $1.1 million. Drain the Clock has been represented on the track by stakes winner Drain The Shot, grade 3-placed Kennyten, and stakes-placed For the Win.

Karakontie  continues to cement his status as one of North America's premier turf value sires, standing for $15,000. A Breeders' Cup Mile (G1T) winner, he leads all active North American turf sires with over 50% winners from starters in 2026. After being represented in 2025 by grade 1 winner and Eclipse Champion She Feels Pretty, his momentum has carried into 2026, headlined by Bourbon Stakes (G2T) winner Agate as he advances to the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf (G1T).

Raging Bull  will stand for $7,500. He is represented on the track by Del Mar Derby (G2T) and Oceanside Handicap winner Proletariat, Crowd Pleaser Stakes winner Jes See Me, and multiple stakes-placed Jutland.
