A glittering lineup of 896 individuals including four group or grade 1 winners has been cataloged for the forthcoming Tattersalls December Mares Sale, which features the Sceptre Sessions and runs from Nov. 30 to Dec. 2.

Some of the star turns have been drip-fed into the news already including Irish Oaks (G1) winner Johanna Walsh, last year's Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1T) scorer Balantina, the brilliant Commonwealth Cup Stakes (G1) and 2025 Prix Morny (G1) winner Venetian Sun, and Tiffany, another trailblazer for the Elite Racing Club after the record-setting exploits of her relative Marsha, who brought 6 million guineas as this sale in 2017.

Overall, there are 44 group and listed winners set to be offered over the three days including the likes of See The Fire, Inis Mor, City of Memphis, Believed, Calendar Girl, and Shes Perfect.

High-class 2-year-olds cataloged with group- or listed-winning form include the Prix d'Aumale (G2) winner Rogue Passion, Molecomb Stakes (G3) winner Pershaada, and Cheveley Park Stakes (G1)-placed Alwaysanangel.

Among top-end broodmares include Syndicate, the dam of Ombudsman, cataloged in foal with a Night of Thunder sibling to the superstar. Last year's Ribblesdale Stakes (G2) winner Garden of Eden is the only lot cataloged in foal to Frankel , while Queen Power, whose yearling filly by Frankel made 1.4 million guineas at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale, is being offered in foal to Kingman , as will the six-time group 1 winner Laurens. Last year's One Thousand Guineas Stakes (G1) runner-up Flight is being offered by Tweenhills with a cover by Dubawi.

Tattersalls managing director Matthew Prior said: "The Tattersalls December Mares Sale has been a key staging post for the international bloodstock industry for more than a century, and the introduction of the Sceptre Sessions in 2022 has further enhanced its standing as Europe's leading breeding stock sale.

"The Sceptre Sessions have quickly established themselves as a highlight of the sales calendar and, with the exceptional quality of entries once again in evidence, the 2026 renewal promises to be an occasion not to be missed.

"The quality and depth of the catalog are further underlined by outstanding drafts from many of Europe's leading breeders, offering buyers access to some of the most sought-after bloodlines in the world.

"The Tattersalls December Mares Sale has an unrivaled record as a source of fillies and mares who have gone on to achieve outstanding success both on the racecourse and at stud, and the continued support of so many of Europe's leading owners and breeders is testament to the sale's enduring appeal. We look forward to welcoming the buyers from throughout the world to Park Paddocks in Newmarket for what remains Europe's most influential breeding stock sale."
