Three horses breezed a co-fastest furlong in :09 4/5 June 11 during the third session of the under-tack show for the Ocala Breeders' Sales June 2-Year-Olds in Training and Horses of Racing Age Sale. Among those to clock a furlong in :09 4/5 is Hip 418, a filly by Rogueish  (Into Mischief ), offered by consignor Bella Rodrigues of Rodrigues Thoroughbreds.

"She prepped really great, and we were very excited for her breeze," Rodrigues said of Hip 418. "She was very aggressive in her training all year. She actually belongs to one of my members on the team, so he was very happy. When I was riding her at the sale, I was very excited for her. We were really excited to see her hit the track; she's going to be a really good horse."

This is Rodrigues' second consignment she has brought to public auction. She sold five juveniles in April at the OBS Spring 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale, topped by a Girvin  colt who brought $230,000 from Marquee Bloodstock, for MorPlay Racing. She also sold a Drain the Clock  filly for $200,000 to Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners.

Hip 418 was bred in Florida by Angel Roman out of the winning Hansen mare Gray Nicole.

Twenty-two-year-old Bella Rodrigues, who grew up in New Jersey, used to travel to Ocala, Fla. to show horses. A lifelong horsewoman, Rodrigues galloped for prominent 2-year-old seller Ciaran Dunne's Wavertree Stables.

"Everyone was very encouraging, especially Nelson (Arroyo) from Arroyo Bloodstock, and Ciaran was very encouraging on doing my own consignment because I had five for April," Rodrigues said. "Julie Reiny, who gives me her homebreds, she was very encouraging on me doing my own consignment. Everyone was like, 'You should take the leap of faith because everyone starts somewhere.'"

Rodrigues climbs aboard all her horses, except during the breeze shows.

"There are definitely things you can see on the ground that you can't feel, but there are definitely things you can feel that you can't see," Rodrigues explained. "So I definitely like being able to get on the horses and feel them, how they are, what their quirks are, what lights them up."

Cachorrita (Hip 514), a filly by King for a Day , also breezed a furlong in :09 4/5, for consignor Five Star Equestrian Sales. The filly is out of the Practical Joke  mare Knot Joking. The filly was picked up by Gina Fennell for $5,000 at the 2025 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Winter Mixed Sale as a short yearling. She failed to meet her reserve at the OBS October Yearling Sale, attracting a final bid of $18,000.

Hip 518, a colt by Munnings , was the third horse to tie for the co-fastest furlong of the session. He is out of the winning Twirling Candy  mare Krissys Manicure.

The colt RNA'd at the OBS March 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale, where the final bid went to $90,000. He also breezed in :09 4/5 during the under-tack show for the March sale.

GOP Racing Stable, which consigns the colt, bought him for $50,000 as a yearling at the 2025 Keeneland September Yearling Sale.

Two horses worked a quarter-mile in :20 4/5, to tie for the fastest quarter of the day.

Hoppell sent out Hip 428, a filly by Justify  out of the stakes-winning and graded stakes-producing mare Harbingerofthings. Hip 428 is a half sister to graded stakes winners Tell Your Daddy, by Justify's sire Scat Daddy, and Dynadrive.

Hoppel picked up the filly for $100,000 at last year's Keeneland September sale.

Hip 433, a colt by first-crop sire Jackie's Warrior , was the other juvenile to work a quarter in :20 4/5. He is out of the multiple graded stakes-placed mare Heavenly Hill. Consignor Tom McCrocklin purchased the colt for $150,000 at Keeneland September sale.

The under-tack show continues at 7:30 a.m. ET June 12 with hips 613-837 set to head to the track.
