Survie unleashed her monstrous strides inside the final sixteenth to beat the boys by about a length in the Christophe Clement Turf Stakes (G1T) Aug. 15 at Saratoga Race Course, just 13 days after winning the Glens Falls Stakes (G2T) against fillies and mares.

The daughter of Churchill finished the 1 1/2 miles on a yielding inner turf in 2:31.55 for winning jockey Manny Franco, trainer George Boughey, owner Michael Tabor, and breeder Franklin Finance.

The pace was set by Ole Crazy Bone, who went :26.24, :52.56, and 1:18.98, with Minaret Station right behind in second. The field bunched up into the homestretch, when Program Trading found the front, before Minaret Station battled back to regain the lead. However, both were no match for Survie, who paid $10.96 for the win. Minaret Station held second, with Program Trading settling for third.

The Christophe Clement Turf Stakes is a Breeders' Cup Challenge Series: Win and You're In event for the Breeders' Cup Turf (G1T) Oct. 31 at Keeneland.
