Breeders Sales of Louisiana announces the addition of Mansfield Racing dispersal as a supplement to the Preferred Yearling Sale to be held Tuesday, September 1 in Opelousas, Louisiana. The dispersal includes seven horses of racing age highlighted by a full brother to Free Like a Girl.
"These are well-bred, top-quality Louisiana breds that are ready to move forward into any shed row and start racing for new owners right away," says Josh Stevens, representative for Mansfield Racing.
Flashy Rich Deal (Hip 300), is a three year old full brother to the phenomenal Louisiana Champion filly Free Like a Girl, who earned $2,565,628 over the course of five years, winning 19 stakes and placing in another 18, seven of which were graded, including the prestigious 2025 Apple Blossom Handicap (G1) where she finished second to 2024 Horse of the Year, Thorpedo Anna.
Additionally the dispersal includes:
All Star Tout (Hip 301), a winning 4-yr-old filly by Liam's Map, currently a top ten leading North American sire;
Stella Guitar (Hip 302), is a winning 3-yr-old filly by perennial leading Louisiana Stallion, Star Guitar;
Dirty Straight Up (Hip 303), is a winning 3-yr-old gelding by Mineshaft is a half-brother to stakes winner First I've Seen, out of stakes winning mare, Correct Call;
El Sunshine (Hip 303), is a stake-placed winning 3yo filly by El Deal out of the stakes-winning and producing Bind mare Mirabeau, who was a brilliant racehorse herself and has an impressive black-type female family.
Two 2-year-olds among the dispersal include an unnamed bay colt by Louisiana Horse of the Year No Parole whose 1st crop are 3yos of 2026, and a very attractive unnamed colt by Volatile, a leading national third crop sire out of T'as D'Beaux Yeux, dam of stakes winner Violent Turbulence.
