This year's Australian Oaks (G1) runner-up Profoundly and a share in Australia's 2024-25 champion first-season sire Ole Kirk headline a typically interesting catalog for the Inglis Digital Australia August (Late) Online Sale, which opened for bidding Aug. 21.
The Michael Freedman-trained Profoundly won the Adrian Knox Stakes (G3) in the autumn before backing up a week later to be beaten just half a length when second to Ohope Wins in the Australian Oaks at Randwick Racecourse.
Profoundly is being offered as a breeding prospect in the August (Late) sale, ready for her maiden cover this spring. She is consigned as Lot 303 by Michael Freedman Racing as agent.
The Ole Kirk stallion share provides a breeder the opportunity to gain access to a leading stallion that is officially fully booked for the 2026 breeding season at a service fee of AU$110,000.
Vinery Stud's Ole Kirk has more than 8% stakes winners from runners from his first crop, and his yearlings have sold up to AU$1 million.
In total, the August (Late) sale consists of 340 lots—160 racehorses (95 race fillies), 79 broodmares, 71 racehorse shares, 20 yearlings, nine unraced stock, and one stallion share.
The final countdown of bidding for the Inglis Digital August (Late) Sale closes from 10 a.m. local time Aug. 25.
